This course may still be really helpful even if you have an existing food blog, especially if you're looking to rebuild it on Wordpress. To talk about your personal situation, please reach out to me using the contact form below.
I'm confident that this course will be everything you're looking for, but if that turns out not to be the case, then all you need to do is cancel your monthly subscription.
Yes, Food Blogging for Beginners is a step-by-step course that will walk you through how to build a blog on Wordpress through GoDaddy's Managed Wordpress product. It also uses a specific theme, called Kale, within the Wordpress theme database.
Not at all! Aside from one tiny little bonus section at the end (for which I will provide you the code), there is no programming in this course.
Yes. In the first Module, I'll share what I think is a reasonable budget for building a food blog. Many of the items are optional and can be added at a later time, but the basic costs of purchasing a domain name and hosting your food blog have to be incurred at the outset. At the time this course was published, those costs were $11.99/month.
Food Blogging for Beginners is a little over 6 hours. This includes the watch time for the videos, but please note that there are quizzes and assignments. The idea is to walk you through building a new food blog, step-by-step, which requires me to provide you with detailed instructions.
Yes! You can opt to pay for the course in full, or in 4 installments payable over the first 4 months following registration.
Yes! Each lesson in each module will have a Discussion icon in the upper right-hand corner. You can post any questions and comments that you have there. Those questions, and my answers, will be available to all students taking this class so that we can all learn from each other.
